Big Dial
What is a good site like Map Quest or Yahoo Maps for people with dial up?
I loved Yahoo Maps, but now they have switched to a format that my dial up can’t handle!
This has rendered that site completely useless to me.
What is another site that is more friendly to dial up?
I live out in the country & when I go to the “big city” I like to plan my trips with maps & yellow pages.
Dial up is still valid as long as there isn’t an affordable alternative for people in the country!
well here’s the problem. all new online (web) apps can be accessed by dialup, however, it is going to be VERY slow. Dial-up is no longer a valid technology. I would buy MS streets and maps. you don’t have to have an internet connection.
