Best Philly cheesesteak?
Coming to Philly for the weekend for the first time. where should I get an authentic philly cheesesteak. I have heard that ginos, Patsy’s, and Tony Lukes are all good. I appreciate any feedback.
Geno’s and Pat’s have seen better days. If you go to Geno’s, there are signs telling you that you must be able to order in English. I haven’t been to TL’s, but I heard they suck, and my husband didn’t like the food he had there. IMO, the BEST is Jim’s at 4th and South. (There are also locations in the Overbrook section of the city –the original– and in a nearby town called Springfield.) Welcome, enjoy your food and have fun.
